No greenhouse gas emissions are produced during the production of green hydrogen

No greenhouse gas emissions are produced during the production of green hydrogen. Green hydrogen is generated through the process of electrolysis, which involves splitting water (H2O) into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) using electricity derived from renewable energy sources. Since these renewable energy sources do not produce carbon emissions during their operation, the production of green hydrogen produces no greenhouse gas emissions.1
