Methanol is a liquid at room temperature

Methanol is liquid at room temperature, which makes it easy to store, handle, and transport compared to many other fuels and chemicals that require special conditions for storage. Methanol remains in a liquid state in ambient conditions and has a boiling point of 64.7°C (148.5°F) and a melting point of -97.6°C (-143.7°F). 1
