Many electrolyzer manufacturers are operating below capacity
Many electrolyzer manufacturers are operating below capacity, primarily due to the current demand for electrolyzers not yet matching their full production potential. The problem is uniquely bad in China, where some electrolyzer manufacturers are operating at as low as 10% capacity.1 The low production rate for electrolyzer manufacturers is a result of green hydrogen demand remaining well below expectations.2
